  • How do I make a Reservation for a Service?

  • What are your hours of operation?
    Hours of Operation 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday Pet Boarding Checkout Times Monday - Friday @ 2pm​ Saturday's @ 12pm Sunday board's are always charged
  • Does Town House for Dogs & Cats offer tours?
    We currently offer virtual tours as well as views from our Reception. Please call our front desk and we can explain how to access our virtual tour (coming soon), our online photos/videos and we'll answer any questions you have about our facility and how comfortable your pet will be here. We have the largest indoor/outdoor runs in the area, 25x8 feet with gravel floor outside and cement base inside with cots (beds & blankets if suitable) that allow for exercise, playtime, stretching, sun bathing, and lots of room for running ​​ The Townhouse turf provides one of the biggest outdoor play yards in the local area, and we still keep our playgroups small and intimate with trained supervision. We're happy to show prospective customers, or current clients, our facility from designated vantage points with our Receptionists. In the many years we've been in operation, we've found that new people entering the kennel causes our furry guests unnecessary anxiety and we want to provide the best experience possible for them.   • What is Town House for Dogs & Cats cancellation policy?
    Cancellations for boarding during Holidays and school vacations, must be done 48-hours prior to reservation date and MUST be done in writing - Each owner will be given a cancellation confirmation number If cancellation notice is less than 48-hours, an amount of two nights stay will be invoiced NOTE: There is no cancellation fee for non-peak dates
  • What is the policy for not being able to pick up or drop off my dog or cat during open hours?
    If you're absolutely unable to drop off/pick up during our regular hours and need to come during this time, please contact the Town House in advance. We will do our best to arrange for a staff member to meet you. Please be advised - we currently do not offer late pick up, but are happy to release your pet to a designated person of your choosing if you have someone willing to pick them up for you. Please let us know the contact info of your designated pick up person in advance as well as provide us with a credit card to use for processing payment. ​
  • What vaccinations are needed for my pet to stay at the Town House?
    We require that Dogs be current on Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies vaccinations Cats need to be current on Distemper and Rabies vaccinations If you have any more questions, feel free to give us a quick call @ 203-227-3276
  • Can I save money by buying packages for Doggie Daycare?
    Yes! Buying a 5 day package saves you $20 Buying a 10 day package saves you $50 Buying a 30 day package saves you $200 For more information, visit Our Services page​
  • Can we bring our own food, bedding or toys?
    Please leave all bedding & blankets behind (unless donating). We'll provide everything! We recommend bringing food from home if your pet has allergies or is on a special diet The Town House does provide Sierra Naturals Regular, Grain Free All Natural Chicken or Grain Free Whitefish & Duck dry food We also have Dave's Chicken, Turkey or Beef wet food
  • Are cats and dogs separated at the Town House for Dogs & Cats?
    Yes, dogs are out in the kennel or downstairs in our Daycare Room Cats have their own room with their own heating/cooling system on the main level off of our reception area
  • Does the Town House for Dogs & Cats allow me to check in on my pet while boarded?
    Yes, of course! We understand how much you can miss your babies. You can call or email to check on them at any time. We can also send you photos or videos of the great time they are having - just ask!
  • Does my pet need to be spayed or neutered to stay?
    No, but we do require customers to inform the staff and make it clear to us if they are not, so that we can take necessary precautions
  • Does Town House for Dogs & Cats offer any discounts or promotions?
    Yes! The Town House always has running promotions, which change frequently. We encourage our customers to check our Promotions page regularly for the best deals. Also, please join our mailing list for direct communications from the Town House here
  • Should I consider getting pet insurance?
    We know this has been a long-debated issue. We at the Town House feel that it is always recommended to have pet insurance for your pet, given any unforeseen illness or accident. Some insurance companies also offer plans that cover annual routine services and vaccines. There are many pet insurance companies out there, therefore we recommend consulting with your veterinarian about which company and policy best fit you and your pet.
